IIMUN is a youth conference run completely by youngsters between the age of 17-23. This is headed by a Central Board of Directors (listed below) along with different groups of students across the country. In total 600 students from across the country work for this organization.
Rishabh Shah
Founder & President
This 22 year old social entreprenuer is the person responsible for the birth of IIMUN. Having participated, led and judged over 80 international youth conferences, he has revolutinized the way MUN conferences are seen in the country. Forming a new set of rules of procedure for the country, he has indeed put India on the global map in Model UN. His formal education being in Accounts & Finance, he is also a graduate in Speech, Drama & Theatre from Trinity College and has had the experience of working in companies such as AC Neilson & organizations like the International Red cross & Giants Group. With his continuous hardwork & simple lifestyle, this youngster is definitely following his role models Kumar Manglam Birla & Rahul Dravid. In his free time, he likes to play chess and play water polo, and not to many people's suprise he has represnted India at the former and his state even at his hobbies. Tauted as the blue eyed boy of the education industry, we are proud to be led by this dynamic youngster who is a perfect role model for today's youth.
Hardik Jain
Vice President
Hardik is a 19 year old student pursuing a Bacehlor's Degree in Information Technology. He has displayed excellence in academics since his school days having topped numerous Olympiads and Scholarship examinations. Pursuing his extracurricular activities, since the age of 15, Hardik started his college life with Social Service based activities with the Rotaract Club of Jai Hind College where he was appointed as the Director of Finance. During his tenure at RCJC, he won awards like Find of the year, Most Consistent Member of the year, All Rounder of the Year and also won the Best Project of the year 2011-2012. He was recently selected in the top 15 young leaders in Mumbai at TOI's I lead India Program. Hardik has been with IIMUN since its founding year and is quintessential thanks to his technical expertise, leadership qualities and ability to deliver under pressure.
Aman Baldia
Director
Aman Baldia, 19 years old is a Second year Engineering student at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai. He has worked for various college events and was a part of the Rotract Club and Cultural Club of his college. Being the debate contingent head of his school, he has participated and won various debate competitions across the city. Aman is also an excellent actor and has won awards like The Best Actor Award at the All India Street Play. He has been working with the Indian International Model United Nations since 2 years and had played an important role in the organization of IIMUN 2013. He is now working as a Director at IIMUN. Apart from this, his academics have been flawless being the topper of his school.
Namrata Sinha
Director
Being an 18 year old student from La Martienere for Girls, Kolkata, Namrata is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Sophia College, Mumbai in political science. An athlete of sorts she has represented the school in swimming, rowing, and karate and is a national level skater and has won a silver in the Duke of Edinburgh trekking. Takes an interest in meeting new people from different strata of life and wants to have enough money to run NGOs for almost every cause under the sun!
Amogh Chitkara
Director
A pass out of Mayo College, Ajmer, he is currently pursuing Psychology at Delhi University . Amogh has taken part in many national level debates, he has keen interest in basketball and has been a national level horse show jumper. He also actively participates in Model United Nations conferences as a participant and organiser. At present he is a director at IIMUN and president for delhi in the same organisation. He believes in engaging in catharsis through his writing. As the owner of two Basset Hound, he loves spending time with them. On the whole, he loves spending time in natural beauty as by the end of the day it is nature who is the mother of all being.
Manan Agrawal
Director
Manan Agrawal, 17 years old is a SYJC Student at Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai. Having been to 20 MUNs, he has taken an active part in organizing MUN conferences at college level. He is a district level football player and also played volleyball for his school. Being an eloquent speaker, he has been a great asset for IIMUN.
